Condominiums Go Up In Flames In Westchester County Early Morning Blaze

A condominium complex in Northern Westchester erupted in flames, prompting a wide response from firefighters.

The fire happened early on Thursday, Jan. 5, around 2 a.m. at the Hillcrest Park Condominiums in Peekskill located at 5 Rolling Way, according to firefighters.

The blaze prompted a response from numerous fire departments in the area in addition to departments from Peekskill, including the Croton-on-Hudson Fire Department and Continental Village Volunteer Fire Department.

Fire officials are still at the scene. It is not yet clear if there were any injuries or how bad the damage is.
